Grace Roberts is from Golden, Colorado and holds a BFA in Pottery from Colorado State University. She lives and works on Whidbey Island as an apprentice for Robbie LobelI. In addition to making pots, Grace focuses on being a member of GLOM art collective. Her work can be viewed at graceyvonneroberts.com and @twofaketeeth on Instagram.

Apprenticeships

Robbie and Maryon are dedicated to educating and mentoring young women in studio pottery and sustainable small business practices. We look for apprentices with a strong work ethic and are thoughtful, curious, and eager to learn.

The apprentice is committed to exploring a life in clay while developing a visual voice and best studio practices. This is where much of the mentoring and learning takes place including ongoing conversations, critiques, demonstrations, glaze development, clay testing, various firing methods, and professional development.
